You might get the interpretation that I had been achieving success after success in my MLM life. But when you read further through you can see that my so called Success Story is a Story of Failures. I had joined the industry 9 years back.
Since then, it was a long journey through a Dark Tunnel but always in my vision there remained a bright light ray of success at the end of the tunnel. As many of us had done, I too had joined a scapegoat Company in the beginning investing a huge amount of money. I have made many of my friends and relatives to be the members of the company. Based on their trust upon me, they also had invested a huge chunk of money into it. The company had given me the motivation to excel in this industry but when I reached on the peak of motivation, the Company disappeared. They left me alone in the Dark Tunnel. Even the Company vanished without giving me a hint; I was answerable to my members who had invested a lot of amount into it listening to my words. To keep on my word, I have sold my house and given back all my members the money that they had invested. When the dust got settled I left with two ways in front of me. Either go back out of the tunnel or move ahead through the Dark Tunnel with courage and to taste the bright light of success. Despite the continuous objection from my relatives and friends, I decided to go ahead. I have joined in the second MLM Company. Another group of highly motivated people, unique specialties of the products, successful leaders, colorful dreams and so on. But I have failed again in my decision making to choose the right company. The System was not perfect and the Company Collapsed. There is a well known saying... To make a mistake for the first time is common. But to repeat the same mistake for the second time is Sin. If it's true, I have done around 4 sins thereafter. After tasting failure with 6 MLM Companies or rather witnessing the failure of 6 MLM Companies being their member at the time of collapsing, I was depressed and felt dejected and a strong revenge built up in my mind against scapegoat companies. To teach them a lesson as how to run an Honest MLM Company which will not disappear leaving their members in the Dark Tunnel, I have decided to start my own Network Marketing Company joining with my friends. It was an insurance based company with vehicles as Compensation. First time in my MLM Life, I have enjoyed some sort of satisfaction when I could give the assured compensation for my members. But it was not that easy. The lack of promotion, motivation and enthusiasm killed the business. When I had reached a stage that I would be personified as the owner of a scapegoat company, I have settled all the commitments to my members and closed down the company; again piling up a huge amount of personal debt before me. My Career graph has pathetically fallen down from the top to the bottom and its edges had gone deep into the hearts of my relatives and friends. All of them started giving me counseling and at the end, with my consent they have arranged for me a visa to go to Dubai seeking for a job. I reached Dubai and started searching for a job and got a fine job with moderate salary. But that salary was not at all enough for clearing up my piled up debts. The Bright light at the end of the tunnel was still haunting me even after migrating to a different country. I remained as a fire cracker waiting for a small ignition. And it came from the person who arranged visa for me when he told me about a Malaysian Network Marketing Company in Dubai called ---- in which he was a member for the past 5 years. Even if I got excited when I heard this, I was really more than skeptical to jump into this, owing to the burning experience of my past life. I went to the first meeting and felt somewhere in my deep heart that the ray of light is getting near and near. Again I had 2 options left before me at the end of the meeting. Either close my eyes to MLM as my relatives and friends advised and go ahead with the job that I got OR to join ---- and try my luck for the last time in MLM. I have gone through all the details of the company, had long discussion with the existing members, analyzed the pros and cones and somewhere I felt that this company can make the long awaited real change in my life. So with regained confidence I have decided to leave the job which I have got and be a fulltime member of ---- . I have faced many a difficulties with this decision since I was in a foreign country with a very high cost of living index and visa formalities. With the grace of God, I could solve the visa formalities and to my surprise ---- had really helped me to overcome those difficulties which I never expected. In the beginning, my income through ---- was very low but even if the income was low, my confidence has gradually boosted because no matter the income low or high, Company was prompt and keen in giving the income to the members at the end of every month. The trust towards ---- has become unshakable when I got an opportunity through ---- to visit Malaysia and attend its 15th year anniversary celebrations. Slowly and steadily my group has grown, income started shooting up and above all I got many a opportunities through the Company to travel to different countries. I have started enjoying the real benefits of MLM Industry Yes; the long cherished dream of reaching to the bright end of the dark tunnel had become a reality. My dear friends, still I don't have words to express the health freedom, wealth freedom and travel freedom that I am enjoying through ---- and the real attraction is that I could earn it in a very short span of 1 year. My life should be learning lesson for all the MLM Enthusiasts who are planning to join or pursuing MLM Business. As I mentioned, I got trapped in the dark tunnel of misfortune and had to undergo many a bitter experiences to reach the end of the tunnel and enjoy the real fruit of success. But for you, there is a short cut to enjoy the real brightness of MLM Success without entering into the Dark Tunnel of Spam Companies. The short cut is nothing but JOIN THE TRUE MLM COMPANY. Stealing Heaven…
Expatriates, like me, who were lucky to secure a comfortable life for themselves and their families by landing a career professional job in prosperous countries, did not only make their dreams come true but are indeed, truly blessed. They could even be considered among the few chosen ones. But, for me, blessing is not something that you rest upon and be contented with. I believe all human beings should dream and achieve more and never stop conquering more heights, climb higher mountains, reach for the stars until we reach the heavens.
Quite ambitious and not contented with a modest paying job as a medical nurse for a number of years in the UAE, I stretched myself taking a part-time job trying to sell ---- at around 5pm onwards after a tiring 8-hour duty from the hospital I worked for in Abu Dhabi. Armed with a strong conviction and the determination to improve further the quality of life of my loved ones back in the ---- , I endured extra long working hours, way beyond my regular duty to attend countless home parties for product demos and business presentations all over the seven emirates of the UAE.
I would recall doing the ---- business full time during my off-duty days, traveling to Dubai , Al Ain and as far as the northern Emirates including Oman . I did this for more than four solid years without fail. This was how I built my business with a firm commitment, passion, dedication, patience and consistency in everything I do in order to establish my strong network base in ---- . I have to admit that the most challenging part of this business was the paradigm shift, changing from an employee mentality to a business-owner psyche which requires me to create my own income, not earn or get it from an employer. And because I was given the chance to create it, I made sure that it was going to be a real big one.
Honing my new craft with DSEI
I did not stop searching to further hone my chosen craft, until I came to know about the Direct Selling Educational Institute (DSEI) through Managing Director, who also happens to be my Upline in this network marketing business. This new discovery suddenly made things easier for me. It made my new career path clearer. An Upline is a person who is an independent distributor of a direct selling company/networking company, who will introduce or bring or sponsor a new person to become a distributor of that same company. This person is also responsible for leading and empowering his new team member.
Various companies offer different products to sell but the most saleable though are services and consumable products that range from skin care, personal care, cosmetics, weight management, and vitamins or food supplements. These are all part or chapters of my personal story while now starting with the Direct Selling business.
Shifting to high gear
It was pretty tough in the beginning because I had no idea on how to effectively run the business in a more organized manner under the DSEI system. My busy working schedule as a nurse was not helping me either. I started attending the business and product training sessions, which at that time were being done at different locations, usually at one of the houses of our members.
I just felt so engrossed using the products myself and started talking about it. I simply love the products because I personally experienced several amazing results. Then, I saw the opportunity of earning a huge income by simply following the company’s system.
Shifting to high gear, I started sponsoring people one by one, group by group until my client base became so big that I have to finally decide whether or not to pursue the business on a fulltime basis.
Life-changing decision
It was at this point in time where I had to make one of the most difficult decisions in my life. And that, I did! I quit my career job as a professional nurse. And there was not a single thought of regret ever came, up to this very moment.
I started sharing the benefits to my family especially to my mother who is now 83 years old and until now she remains a loyal user of our products. I have managed to develop loyal customers who enjoy my 100% service and buy my products regularly.
This made my retail base stronger and gave me more income while helping them enjoy the benefits of my products that range from nutrition, personal care, skin care, weight management and cosmetics. After barely seven years of diligently doing ---- business, I rose to become the first and only ---- in the whole of Middle East and I have never stopped. I still continue talking to people and share to them the opportunity that the business can offer aside from the amazing benefits of products that make other people's life better and healthier.
Reaping the rewards
Proving that hard work, passion and dedication to one’s craft don’t go unrewarded, I have just crossed earning my first Dh2 million bonus in along with my promotion as the highest-earning salesperson or ---- last year.
I could only shed a tear when my recognition day came. I still vividly recalled with a smile how the small part- time job I started barely seven years ago has now become a giant global business whose membership has mushroomed in 15 countries where I regularly and personally manage.
Then I smiled and said a little prayer thanking my Creator realizing that in not so very long time, I was able to see myself managing more than 35,000 members in my sales force throughout the Middle East not to mention more members from all over the world.
I think the reason why I am so crazy about ---- is the fact that I can see how many people became so satisfied, happy and financially successful because of the opportunity I offered to them. I feel overjoyed every single day and yes, it just felt like I’ve already stolen heaven!
When it rains, it pours
What is more super amazing to note that my Dh2million ---- bonus last year, does not even include my personal retail profit and foreign travels that were all paid for by the company. That old saying: “When it rains, it pours…” is now heartily felt.
After having achieved the status of a ---- , I am now setting my sights to become the first ---- . In this business, wealth and fulfillment are just two of the many motivation or force that really drives me to excel more than I could imagine.
Sharing the blessings
All the challenges that I somewhat hurdled were indeed very rewarding judging from the vantage point where I stand right now. But make no mistake about that; I did it not just for the money. I still remain standing firmly on the ground with my conviction to share whatever blessings I have to the less fortunate ones.
During my recent short trip to ---- , I wasted no time in meeting a lot of people, mostly old acquaintances and some relatives almost every hour, everyday to help them start their own small business and augment whatever meager income they have to cope up with the crunching financial crisis almost everyone there seems to be experiencing.
Care to know some of my best-kept secrets on how I managed to achieve my humble success? Well, my advice is simple – just learn effective communication and possess strong leadership.
I swear these are the essential tools a person needs to be successful in this type of business. I should know because it worked with me. Keep focused and better yet, consider one chosen business as if it was your last chance to achieve financial success and spiritual fulfillment.
If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got everything has its beginning in mind. Everything! The world and everything in it was once a thought. I would like to share with you, what I believe is the most important attribute that we should use in pursuit of our success. Actually what I'm going to say is nothing new no rocket science and no secret either. Nevertheless, it's the basis for anyone to succeed in this marvelous industry.
This is not my theory but a concept that has been researched and proven by many great people. Visualization is a process that has been taught by many great teachers throughout centuries. The reason it is so powerful is because as you create pictures in your mind of seeing yourself with what you want, you are generating thoughts and feelings of actually having it. All the great inventors, like Wright brothers who invented the airplane, Alexander Graham Bell who invented the telephone, or Edison who invented the bulb, all of them have one thing in common.
All of them visualized their inventions long before it took shape. The only way anything has ever been invented or created is because one person saw a picture in mind. Initially, when I came across this concept, I was doubtful of its power, but today after experiencing the effect, I have no doubts at all. This maybe what is referred to as power of the human mind. As we have all heard before, everything starts with a dream. Without a dream nothing really seems to happen. We need to visualize ourselves succeeding. We need to see the light at the end of the tunnel before we start.
We need to solidify our goals into our thoughts so as to indicate the true worth of their achievement. We need to visualization is so underestimated.
